Richie Eye Clinic & LASIK Center, a leading provider of ophthalmic care in southern Minnesota, is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician to join our dynamic team in our state‑of‑the‑art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Faribault, MN.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare the OR for ophthalmic surgeries (cataract, glaucoma, etc.)
Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields
Pass instruments and assist the surgeon during procedures
Perform instrument counts and ensure all surgical items are accounted for
Handle delicate ophthalmic instruments with care and precision
Help turn over ORs quickly and efficiently between cases
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to ensure outstanding patient care
Support infection control and quality assurance efforts
What We’re Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (or equivalent experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
BLS certification required
1+ year experience in an OR setting; ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
