Key Responsibilities
Assist optometrists during eye examinations by preparing patients and conducting preliminary tests.
Perform vision tests and measurements, including visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper contact lens care and eyewear options.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to the eye is preferred.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and courtesy.
A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
