Job Description
Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is to fully and adequately perform minor laboratory technical procedures and duties for providers in a timely fashion. Employee working in this position should have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology for anatomy and pathologic disease. Employee should have computer and customer service skills.
CarolinaEast Health System is a 350-bed, full-service medical center in Coastal Carolina that offers a robust benefits package to full‑time employees, as well as benefits for part‑time plus and part‑time staff.
High school graduate and completion of a Phlebotomy course.
Prior experience preferred.
On the job training is provided.
Experience with computers helpful.
Medical terminology and knowledge of laboratory science, anatomy, and pathologic disease helpful and preferred.
