About Role
Accrete AI is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive the company’s go-to-market efforts and fuel pipeline growth across commercial and/or government sectors. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, qualifying prospects, building strong relationships, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is deeply curious about advanced technology, and has a passion for solving complex business challenges with cutting-edge AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and use cases
Manage outbound outreach campaigns and follow-up on inbound leads
Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings for senior sales or leadership
Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity and lead conversion
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and customer engagement
Support proposal development, RFP responses, and contracting processes as needed
Represent Accrete at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and leads
Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on market feedback and performance
Qualifications & Experience
3–6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions (AI/ML experience is a plus)
Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms
Bachelor's degree in Business or 4 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience working with federal customers or understanding of public sector procurement (a plus but not required)
