Emily McCarthy is seeking a Joy Club Manager to lead and grow our in-store wine and coffee bar experience within our Savannah flagship. The Joy Club is designed as a gathering place for wine, coffee + community — an extension of our brand that brings people together through thoughtful curation and meaningful experiences. This role will take ownership of that vision, helping to shape and evolve the Joy Club as we continue to build something truly special. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of taste, hospitality, and initiative — someone who is excited by the opportunity to curate, create, and lead.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day experience and operations of the Joy Club
Curate and evolve a thoughtful selection of wine, coffee, and beverages, with a focus on unique and hard‑to‑find offerings
Build and maintain relationships with wine representatives and industry partners
Plan and execute in-store events, tastings, and experiences that drive both revenue and community engagement
Manage inventory, ordering, and overall organization of the beverage program
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the Joy Club experience aligns with the broader Emily McCarthy brand
Contribute to storytelling through simple, on‑the‑ground content and ideas
WhatWe’reLooking For
Background in hospitality, wine, food & beverage, or a related field
Experience in a customer‑facing, high‑touch environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A natural sense of taste and interest in curated experiences
Experience with events, tastings, or programming is a plus
Ability to take ownership of a space and evolve it over time
Wine knowledge or certifications (such as sommelier training) are a plus, but not required
