Position Overview
The firm is seeking a self‑sufficient Personal Injury Attorney with 5‑8 years of experience who can manage cases independently from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities, requires minimal oversight, and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through settlement or trial
Conduct case evaluations, develop legal strategies, and advise clients accordingly
Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
Prepare cases for trial and participate in litigation proceedings as needed
Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal team members
Qualifications
5‑8 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff‑side preferred)
Active Connecticut Bar admission (required)
Admission in Massachusetts and/or New York is a plus, but not required
Proven ability to independently manage a caseload
Strong negotiation, litigation, and communication skills
Highly organized, proactive, and results‑driven
