Position Overview
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Harvard, IL. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $0.60 per mile (2000 miles per week)
Stops pay: $26.00 per stop (15 stops per week)
Per diem: $40.00 per night (1–2 nights per week)
Weekly payment
Start time: AM/PM shifts available
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
Loyalty bonus: $2,500 at 6 months and $2,500 at 1 year

Deliver SOLO to IL, WI, IA, OH, MI, IN, KS, NE, MN, ND, SD & KY
Route: Regional
Tractor type: Day Cab
Trailer type: Dry Van 31′–53′
Equipment: Electric & Manual Pallet Jack
Freight: Touch – Hardware Supplies
Endorsements: Hazmat within 90 days of hire (cost reimbursed)
Trucks: 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance
Fuel: Company‑paid at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass Ryder drug test, background & motor vehicle check, DOT physical, road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years
Ability to follow written/oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret & apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist loading/unloading as required by customer
Perform other duties as assigned
