Summary
Andaz Maui at Wailea is a 15‑acre beachfront resort located on Mokapu Beach in Wailea, Maui. The Assistant Front Office Manager ensures a smooth arrival and thoughtful departure for all guests, overseeing a team of Resort Hosts and supporting the Guest Services team to provide a seamless, barrier‑free experience.
Responsibilities
Review daily arrivals and guest requests, including luggage delivery, rental cars, and room blocking.
Coordinate guest service needs with all other operations departments.
Oversee Resort Hosts and assist the Guest Services team to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
At least 2 years of progressive hotel experience, preferably in rooms management.
Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills.
Hospitality or hotel management degree an asset.
High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, and effective communication skills.
Clear written and verbal communication in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
Valid liquor certification to sell/serve alcohol.
Clean motor‑vehicle record.
Benefits
Salary range: $61,800 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
