Assistant Front Office Manager – Andaz Maui at Wailea
Overview
Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand, located on Maui’s southwestern coastline along Mokapu Beach. The 15‑acre beachfront resort is part of the Wailea luxury community, offering a 1.2‑mile oceanfront beach path, premier shopping, and distinguished restaurants.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Front Office Manager ensures a smooth arrival and thoughtful departure for all guests, oversees a team of Resort Hosts, and supports the Guest Services team in providing a seamless, barrier‑free experience. Key duties include reviewing daily arrivals, guest requests, luggage delivery, rental car coordination, room blocking, and coordinating needs with all other operations departments.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $61,800 – $75,000. The role is eligible for:
Medical, Dental, Vision, and additional health benefits
401K retirement savings plan with company match
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Paid Time Off and 7 observed holidays
Discounted Hyatt rooms upon hire and up to 12 complimentary rooms at any participating Hyatt location after 90 days

Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people of diverse abilities and backgrounds
2 years or more of progressive hotel experience, preferably rooms management experience
Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and commitment to exceptional customer service
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
Valid liquor certification to sell/serve alcohol
Clean motor vehicle record
