
School Social Work Intern

Hillel Torah, in Skokie, is seeking a warm and energetic school social work intern to serve for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children, excellent interpersonal skills, and an organized and proactive working style. The School Social Work intern is directly supervised by our School Social Worker and serves as a member of a broader student support team.
Responsibilities
Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and administrators in grades K-8 to problem solve and support students’ social/emotional and behavioral well-being.
Work 1:1 with students with a range of social/emotional challenges.
Co-facilitate social skills groups.
Create and implement student treatment plans.
Write up 2 weekly process recordings and individual case notes.
Qualifications
2nd year social work program working towards a type 73.
Preferred specialization in schools.
