You will be part of the 9th Air Force (9AF) United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT), which is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia. This position supports the 9th AF Operations Directorate.
The Deployment Plans Support and Force Management Analyst supports 9 AF AFCENT Operations staff in deployment planning.
In This Role You Will

Provide expertise in all aspects of Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) support for 9AF AFCENT during contingency and steady‑state operations to include execution and exercise planning.
Facilitate actions IAW 10‑401 for Office of Functional Area Manager Oversight (OFAMO) managing all assigned 9AFAFCENT FAMs having access to appropriate systems and trained to perform FAM duties in their respective areas.
Provide assistance to all 9AFAFCENT Functional Area Managers (FAM) ensuring requirements are effectively identified in the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Deliberate Crisis and Actions Planning Execution System (DCAPES) databases using Force Requirements Enhanced Database (FRED) and Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM) applications to ensure requirements are ordered in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP) and sourced in DCAPES. Provide analysis to the OFAMO on the status of sourcing and provide guidance to the FAMs on corrective actions.
Provide advice for the daily coordination and validation of requirements within the TPFDD to meet the needs of 9AF AFCENT and supporting units to include assisting in the analysis and management of manpower and personnel support of 9AF AFCENT’s emergent and enduring requirements.
Assist in the reception, analysis, coordination, and processing of 9AFAFCENT requirement requests for Air Force support to other Services’ contingency requirements.
Provide expertise for developing the Deployment Requirements Manning Document (DRMD).
Review and recommend improvements for current and future training and exercise plans, Air Force instructions, and joint publications.
Facilitate and assist in the effective deployment of response forces to meet emergent contingencies utilizing the RFF process.
Aid HQ FAMs to define requirements in the USAF deployment system. Process requirement CRs following 9AF AFCENT procedures.
Analyze and assist in the building of contingency requirements and monitor status in databases (JOPES/DCAPES) based on current operations.
Manage the Force Management’s daily TMT system operations. Provide resident expertise in all TMT matters.
Assist Directorates and Special Staff with composition, staffing, and distribution of 9AFAFCENT message traffic (fragmentary order (FRAGO), RFF, deployment order (DEPORD), redeployment order (REDEPORD), operation order (OPORD) and general administration (GENADMIN)) as required.
Monitor Branch compliance to message development, staffing, and distribution procedures.
Assist and provide guidance for the Global Force Management (GFM) functions of attached 9AFAFCENT forces across the USCENTCOM AOR.
Assist deployed units in crafting GFM products for emerging and recurring requirements. Interface with USAF Commands, Higher Headquarters Air Force, and USCENTCOM to ensure 9AF AFCENT equities are implemented into the GFMAP.
Qualifications

An active DoD Secret Clearance.
Three years experience working with Component Command level or higher operating procedures.
Three years experience with JCRM applications and JOPES and DCAPES databases.
Two years experience and knowledge of GFM process and procedures.
One (1) years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e‑mail systems or the equivalent.
High School Diploma or GED.
