Assistant Nurse Managers (ANMs)
to support multiple inpatient units across the organization. These roles are ideal for experienced RNs ready to step into a
clinically engaged leadership position
while maintaining a strong presence on the unit.
About the Role
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager provides hands‑on clinical and operational leadership to support nursing staff and ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This role plays a key part in daily unit operations, staff development, patient flow, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide visible, unit‑based leadership and real‑time coaching to nursing staff
Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily patient throughput
Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care and decision‑making
Promote evidence‑based practice, patient safety, and quality initiatives
Assist with staffing coordination and shift‑to‑shift operations
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team culture
Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Days and Evenings coverage
Scheduling structured to support unit operations, leadership visibility, and staff needs
Qualifications
Required
Current Connecticut RN license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred
MSN or enrollment in a graduate nursing program
Charge Nurse or informal leadership experience

Pay Range: $91,624–$146,646
Pay is based on experience, education, and skills. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) are paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. Pay may vary within the range based on location.
