EMR System: Epic (Ochsner)
Office Equipment Available: CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, lab services
Specialty Backup Available: ENT, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Oncology, Hematology
Support Staff Available: NP/PA support coverage (10-hour shifts during week)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active LA license required
Board: Board Certified in EM, FM, or IM (EM experience required)
DEA: LA DEA and controlled substance license required
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience
Other Qualifications: Residency-trained (EM/FM/IM); must meet all facility credentialing requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency medical care across all patient populations
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute conditions
Perform emergency procedures as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and specialty backup services
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
