The Manager, Advanced Practice Providers, Telehealth oversees the team of NPs and other Advanced Practice Providers delivering telehealth services. The role manages staff performance, ensures quality of care, coordinates interdisciplinary teams, and contributes to telehealth strategy. A portion of time may be clinical for virtual consultation.

Essential Job Duties / Responsibilities

Manages and leads the APP Telehealth team, ensuring effective delivery of diagnostic patient care primarily through virtual, remote consultations.

Oversees assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and documentation of geriatric patients’ physical and psychosocial health status.

Actively engages in direct patient care through telehealth consultations, dedicating up to 20% of work time to this function.

Promotes a collaborative, patient‑centric approach to care in coordination with primary caregivers and interdisciplinary care teams.

Facilitates staff development, performance management, and team productivity to optimize service delivery.

Contributes to the development and implementation of telehealth/telemedicine policies, procedures, and protocols.

Ensures compliance with guidelines, regulations, departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, and quality patient care compliance.

Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently to plan and provide services that are safe, patient‑centric, and fiscally responsible.

Analyzes patient data, health outcomes, and service utilization to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and guide decision‑making.

Manages scheduling flexibility based on department needs, including coverage for PTO, LOA, and other absences.

Undertakes additional duties as assigned and modified at the manager’s discretion.

In‑depth knowledge of telehealth practices and procedures

Exceptional customer service and relationship‑building skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant systems

Willingness to travel locally, regionally, or nationally up to 20% of the time; flexibility to work after‑hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Spoken and written fluency in English; bilingual (Spanish/Creole) a plus

Ability to exercise independent judgment

Education and Experience Criteria

MS in Nursing (MSN) with board certification in Advanced Practice Nursing; certification in specialty area required.

Board certification by AANP or ANCC required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification desired.

Licensed to practice in Florida required; additional licenses for GA, VA, MI, MO, OH, PA, TN, TX, IL, KY, LA, KS highly preferred.

Will be expected to acquire additional state licenses upon hire if not already held.

Minimum 5 years of acute clinical work experience required.

Minimum 3 years of direct managerial/supervisory experience with a clinical team required.

Minimum 3 years of telehealth work experience highly preferred.

Pay Range
$119,476 - $170,680
