Overview
You will support the Child Protection Manager as the Gaza Technical Lead on Child Protection Systems Strengthening. Responsibilities include preparing, executing, managing, and implementing technical and administrative programme tasks to design, implement, monitor, evaluate, and report on child protection programmes, especially in care reform and case management.
Summary Of Key Functions / Accountabilities
Support to programme development and planning
Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
Technical and operational support to programme implementation
Networking and partnership building
Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Minimum Requirements
Education: A university degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
Work Experience: Minimum two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection related areas, particularly child protection system strengthening, case management, and family‑based alternative care.
Skills: Programme Management, Approval Process, Review Process.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic.
Desired Skills / Additional Experience
Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language.
Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organisation.
Experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
