
Truck Driver CDL A Regional Flex

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Norcross, GA to drive regional routes using 26' straight trucks.
Pay and Benefits:
Weekly Guaranteed Pay: $1,200 (top earners $1,700+)
Hourly Pay: $30
Travel Time Pay: $25.50 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 after 50 miles
Paid Training available
Schedule varies, 50–60 hours per week
Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available after 30 days
80 hours paid time off starting Day 1
401(k) plan with company match after 1 year
12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility)
Employee equipment: electric and manual pallet jack, optional uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance
Equipment and Routes
Tractor Type: Sleeper, Day Cab, 26' Straight Trucks
Trailer Types: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 48', 53’
Routes: Regional up to 1 week, sometimes solo runs
Freight: Touch (varies)
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies.
Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate logs.
Load and unload freight or assist as required by the customer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Class A CDL and endorsements; 9 months’ experience within last 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years.
Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
