We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Cortland, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assistant Manager: supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Enforces policies, procedures and standards, schedules mechanics/technicians' work, manages outside orders, ensures the quality and timely completion of jobs, meets customer expectations, and maintains the safety of team members.
Service Manager: directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services; drives sales initiatives; communicates directly with customers; assesses customer needs; provides information regarding repairs and maintenance; ensures customer satisfaction and strives to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must:
be at least 18 years of age;
be legally authorized to work in the United States;
possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
