Position Description
Class A CDL Truck Driver in Amarillo, TX. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, detecting and eliminating safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, loading and unloading freight as required, and performing other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Pay Weekly: $1600 guaranteed per week.

Solo Miles Pay: $0.60 per mile with 1500 miles per week.

Solo Stops Pay: $25 per stop with up to 15 stops per week.

Paid training.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time 6:00 AM.

Route & Equipment

Deliver to TX, CO, NM, OK, KS.

Route: Regional.

Tractor: Sleeper.

Trailer: Flatbed 53’.

Must have 9 months of Flatbed experience.

Freight: Touch load securement, chaining, and unchaining – steel (very little tarping).

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age.

Pass a Ryder drug test.

Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years.

Pass a DOT physical.

Pass a Ryder road test.

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.

Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years.

Ability to follow written or oral instructions and to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
