Digital Fundraising Coordinator
Precinct Consulting, Washington, District of Columbia, United States
About Precinct
Precinct delivers senior consulting and strategic execution for Democratic campaigns. We run end-to-end grassroots fundraising programs and provide expert analysis and strategic services to candidates at every level of government.
We’re building a new model for campaign fundraising — one that puts campaigns first and combines strategy with hands‑on execution.
The Role
We’re hiring a
Digital Fundraising Coordinator
to support our Online Fundraising Director with the execution of Precinct’s digital fundraising programs. This is a hands-on role focused on getting work done quickly, accurately, and on schedule.
You’ll draft fundraising emails and texts, load content into platforms, pull reports, manage donation pages, and coordinate vendor work across multiple campaigns and programs. You’ll work under clear direction from the Online Fundraising Director and execute the tactical work that keeps programs running smoothly.
This role reports to the Senior Advisor and works day-to-day with the Online Fundraising Director. It’s a long-term role with real growth potential as Precinct expands its work.
Fundraising Execution
Draft first‑round fundraising emails and SMS across multiple campaigns and programs
Incorporate feedback and edits quickly and accurately
Load content into email and SMS platforms (NGP, ActionKit, or similar CRMs)
Schedule sends, build lists, QA content, and ensure programs deploy on time
Manage donation pages, forms, and fundraising infrastructure across multiple ActBlue accounts
Platform & Data Management
Manage operations across multiple email/SMS CRM instances
Pull performance reports, donor exports, and program data
Track results and organize reporting for the Online Fundraising Director
Maintain clean data, accurate segmentation, and properly configured fundraising infrastructure
Coordination & Workflow
Track timelines and deadlines across multiple campaigns and workstreams
Coordinate with vendors on list acquisition, creative, and program support
Organize approvals and keep programs moving through production smoothly
Flag issues, solve problems, and elevate when needed
Who You Are
Experience
1 cycle (or equivalent experience) working in Democratic digital fundraising
Experience writing fundraising emails or SMS, or strong writing skills with eagerness to learn fundraising
Hands‑on experience with email/SMS platforms (NGP, ActionKit, EveryAction, or similar)
Experience with ActBlue, donation page management, or online fundraising tools
Skills
Fast and accurate : You move quickly without making mistakes, and you catch errors before they go out
Highly organized : You track multiple deadlines, manage your workload, and never let things slip
Strong writer : You can draft clean, compelling fundraising copy or learn quickly with coaching
Detail‑oriented : You QA your own work, double-check lists, and ensure content is correct before it goes live
Reliable : You do what you say you’ll do, on time, without needing to be reminded
Work style
Comfortable taking direction and executing efficiently within clear parameters
Calm under pressure and able to manage steady workloads
Proactive about asking questions when something’s unclear
Ready to work in a small‑team environment where everyone pitches in
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for someone who’s worked as a digital coordinator or assistant on a competitive campaign and wants to keep doing high‑quality execution work in a stable, long‑term role. Or someone who ran digital solo for a down‑ballot race and wants to focus on craft and execution rather than strategy and management.
You don’t need to be a total expert — you need to be fast, organized, and good at getting things done right. If you’re someone who takes pride in clean work, fast turnaround, and keeping programs running smoothly, this is the role.
