Job Description
Sodexo is seeking an
Executive Chef
for
Menlo College
located in
Atherton, California . Our Executive Chef will primarily be responsible for resident dining, but may also help with catering. The position requires working Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, with at least one weekend day per week. Menlo College is a small private undergraduate college focusing on the practical arts of business in the entrepreneurial economy, situated just outside San Francisco.
What You'll Do
Purchase supplies, maintain menu compliance, manage inventory, conduct food cost analysis, and forecast food production.
Ensure Sodexo culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented.
Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance.
Operate automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum management experience: 2 years.
Minimum functional experience: 2 years in food or culinary services, including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, and mall food courts.
