ER Veterinary Technician – Swing
MissionVet Specialty & Emergency (MVS) in San Antonio, TX, is seeking full‑time ER Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic and growing emergency and inpatient care team.
Compensation
$20 - $23
per hour, depending on experience
$1
per hour weekend differential
Schedule
Full Time
Monday & Friday: 12pm – 12am
Saturday: 2pm – 2am
Key Responsibilities
Experience or familiarity with emergency care, including advanced ICU monitoring, CRI calculations, and fluid rate management.
Assessing and stabilizing critically ill patients while working closely with the veterinary team.
Administering medications and treatments under the direction of experienced veterinarians.
Providing compassionate support to concerned pet owners and keeping them informed about their pets’ condition.
Ensuring accurate and detailed medical record‑keeping.
Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
Who We’re Looking For
Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) or Skilled Technicians with at least two years of experience.
Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required; fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast‑paced situations.
