Mechanical Maintenance Technician III - Nights
Location: Onsite – Casa Grande, AZ
Competitive Compensation: $38.75 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential.
Shift: Night Shift, 3-1-3 Rotating Schedule (on Fri, Sat & Sun. Off Mon. On Tues, Wed & Thurs-then reverse), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician III to join the Casa Grande team, supporting the production of high-quality plumbing products and fixtures. In this role, you will work on a team of associates headed by a Maintenance Supervisor to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and recondition machinery, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment. The Maintenance team also conducts maintenance and repair activities for the facility, including but not limited to building, grounds, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc. You will be an ideal candidate if you are an experienced Maintenance professional and are willing to learn and adapt to new and changing processes and environments.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and work on all machines and equipment.
Perform mechanical repairs to all machines and equipment, e.g., alignment of machine spindles, slides, and ways.
Replace bearings, shafts, gears, etc.
Conduct repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic valves and controls, pressure regulators, pumps, tools, etc.
Assist in solving machine problems in production equipment, which may include the proficient operation of machines, incidental to troubleshooting those machines.
Adjust, align, patch, or replace drives, conveyors, etc.
Inspect and repair all hoist components, including cables, hooks, shafts, packing, and valves on air hoist, and sheaves on electric hoist.
Perform all required preventative and predictive maintenance procedures on process machinery and equipment within assigned work areas.
Proficiently utilize a wide variety of tools and instrumentation including, but not limited to, voltage tester, ammeter, megger, oscilloscope, hand tools, power tools, personal computers, vibration analyzers, and laser measurement equipment.
Maintain technical competence in advancing technology via frequent training courses, on-the-job training, and vendor programs.
Operate power industrial equipment at times to accomplish work responsibilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Heavy industrial environment, including but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights, and confined spaces.

Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
An associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automated Manufacturing Systems, or similar field of study.
Years of required experience for each level is based upon skills and knowledge along with years’ of experience. Years’ of experience typically meet the following levels: Mechanical Maintenance Technician III – 7+ years' experience.
Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
A natural ability for problem-solving and continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
Previous experience with the installation, frequency, drive, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
A strong work ethic that includes the ability to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts while sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting.
Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
A willingness to help with activities that may be outside of your job scope.
The flexibility to change shifts as the plant moves into future phases of production and operability.
Employment will be subject to maintenance of competency via a standardized knowledge check.
