Our client is a specialty manufacturing organization here in central Ohio that is growing. They provide their employees with a stable work environment, excellent benefits, growth potential, non-union manufacturing setting and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
They are looking to hire a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor. Main duties include:
Leading a small team of Machine Operators (10-15) on 3rd Shift
Ensuring safety and quality goals/initiatives are met
Willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and help on the machines when needed
Lead by example (training and helping others move up within the organization)
Track inventory by using MRP or ERP/SAP type systems
Qualifications include:
At least a couple years of experience leading small teams of associates in a heavy industrial environment (ideally a chemical plant)
Hands-on leadership (someone who was promoted from an Operator to a Leader is ideal)
Ability to work nights and occasional weekends.
