The Product Support Specialist is a key member of the Aftermarket Sales team, supporting customers through the full sales and order life cycle. This role blends technical product expertise with strong operational execution and serves as the primary link between customers and internal Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Operations teams. You will ensure accurate order processing, technical alignment, timely quoting, and outstanding customer service. In this position, you will quickly resolve issues affecting quotes, pricing, and orders, helping Jered deliver industry‑leading performance and customer satisfaction. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Success Criteria
Success in this role requires the ability to follow established processes while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. The most successful individuals communicate clearly across technical and non technical stakeholders and are able to solve complex, non routine problems through strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
This role also requires the ability to balance sales support and detailed order processing work while maintaining accuracy in quotes, pricing, and order execution. Strong technical aptitude is essential, including the ability to interpret manufactured drawings and align specifications with customer requirements. Success is demonstrated through accurate, timely execution of quotes and orders, effective cross functional communication, and consistent resolution of issues in accordance with company processes.
Summary / Objective
This position supports the full sales and order lifecycle, including quoting, order processing, and coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, supporting bill of materials and pricing structures, and ensuring accurate and timely order execution.
Success in this role depends on strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high paced environment while delivering accurate quotes, resolving order issues, and supporting customer needs from request through completion.

Requirements
One (1) to three years of experience in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Project Management or a related field
Must be proficient with office computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Basic estimating/procurement experience (preferred)
Experience with blueprint reading or engineering drawings (preferred)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
