
Production Control & Shipping Coordinator

Overview
This role supports production and shipping operations by coordinating order processing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring on-time delivery commitments. The position works closely with internal teams and customers to manage schedules, materials, and shipment documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Create and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and labels
Maintain and update production and shipping data in internal systems
Generate and share reports related to orders, inventory, and production activity
Coordinate shipment schedules to meet customer deadlines
Verify shipping details and ensure accuracy of all outgoing orders
Track incoming materials and assist with tagging and documentation
Review and validate freight or trucking invoices
Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery requirements
Support inventory tracking and material release planning
Monitor supply levels for shipping materials and reorder as needed
Record daily inspection and production-related information
Promote safe work practices and address potential risks proactively
Requirements
Diploma or degree in a related field is preferred
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Understanding of logistics, material movement, and production workflows
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Familiarity with industrial sectors (e.g., metal, automotive) is an advantage but not essential
