Work as a Supply Chain analyst at a global manufacturing company. The company has been growing. You would join the Supply chain team of 15 at a Global Manufacturing Company warehouse.
Responsibilities
Maintain inventory accuracy -regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies between system records and physical stock
Manage the delivery and staging of parts and components from inventory storage to assembly lines, ensuring the correct quantity of material is delivered to each work cell based on active build schedules — preventing both shortages and overages that require return trips
Monitor production schedules and compare against on-hand inventory levels to identify potential material shortages before they impact the line; communicate shortages to production control and purchasing teams to drive vendor expedites as needed
Track inventory transactions including material receipts, transfers, and consumption to ensure MRP/ERP system accuracy
Coordinate with production control, assembly, purchasing and receiving teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and prevent line stoppages
Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete stock and report findings to management
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, material flow and warehouse organization
Requirements
Either a Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, with internship experience OR no Degree with 3+ years of hands‑on inventory control or materials handling, or production control experience or warehouse management experience.
Familiarity with cycle counting, physical inventory procedures, and inventory reconciliation
Ability to read and interpret production schedules and bill of materials (BOM)
Working knowledge of MRP or ERP or WMS system for inventory tracking and transaction management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting and inventory tracking
