Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift (Finishing) | Manufacturing

Schedule:
2nd Shift | Mon–Thurs, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (OT as needed)
Overview
We are hiring a
Production Supervisor (2nd Shift – Finishing)
to lead a high-volume manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on
safety, production efficiency, lean manufacturing, and team development . You will serve as the
frontline leader , ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations to meet
output, quality, and safety goals
Promote and enforce
OSHA/EPA compliance, PPE usage, and a safety-first culture
Drive
continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 6S initiatives
Coach, mentor, and develop team members; foster a
servant leadership culture
Ensure proper training in
safety, quality, and equipment operation
Monitor performance metrics and improve
process efficiency and workflow
Partner with
engineering, maintenance, and technical teams
for support
Handle
employee relations , including working with union representatives
Conduct
safety audits
and address risks or non-compliance quickly
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations
1–3+ years of experience in
manufacturing (high-volume, fast-paced environment)
Proven
leadership or supervisory experience in production/manufacturing
Strong commitment to
workplace safety and compliance
Experience with
team coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Self-motivated with strong
problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of
Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Kanban, 6S, process improvement
Experience working in a
union environment
