- Setting: Inpatient / OR
- Schedule:
- Day shifts with in-house call coverage
- Call response time: 45 minutes
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 90 days
- Facility accepts multiple providers: no Requirements:
- Active VA license
- Board certification
- Clean history
- ABLS
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS Clinical Details:
- Full-scope anesthesia across adult and pediatric populations
- Case mix includes cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgery, OB, thoracic, and regional cases
- General, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Obstetrical anesthesia and pain management techniques
- Airway management and ventilation management
- Invasive monitoring including central line and PA catheter placement
- Management of hemodynamic and acute volume/BP issues
- Post-operative pain control including epidurals and extremity blocks
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary surgical and anesthesia teams
- Teaching environment with resident involvement Compensation:
