Position Summary
Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, safety, and operational improvements. Forecast staffing workload and performance results, prepare and analyze business reports, and use information to identify operational improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies and procedures. Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns. Supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, and offering feedback and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
Prepare review and analysis business reports to identify operational improvements.
Develop, distribute, and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment and consultation.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for learning and growth.
Teach, support, and model logistics and company policies and procedures.
Participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers.
Build high‑performing teams; embrace differences in people, culture, ideas, and experiences.
Create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
1-year experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.
1-year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates, managing associate workload, and participating in hiring and promotion of associates.
3 years of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.
Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Annual salary range: $84,000.00 - $126,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, regional pay zone and stock options.
