Job Description: The
QC scientist II
performs the analysis on allergenic and client components, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following written procedures, providing the data required to determine raw material/product dispositions. The responsibilities may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.
Analyze raw materials, in‑process, stability and final container products according to established procedures.
Record and review data in accordance with GxP to meet regulatory requirements.
Perform studies to assess product or procedural problems under the direction of the Supervisor.
Assist in troubleshooting and investigations as directed.
Prepare reports and assist with document revisions.
Maintain training compliance on all procedures.
Adhere to all aspects of plant safety programs and GMP regulations.
Maintain and operate laboratory equipment in accordance with procedure.
Demonstrate proficiency in core analytical assays.
Participate in internal and/or external client interactions.
Perform special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or a related hard science OR Bachelor degree in hard sciences with 3 years of lab experience.
1‑year lab experience required with BS degree; 3 years’ lab experience required with BA degree.
Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Manual Dexterity.
Knowledge, practical application, and understanding of the sciences.
Ability to utilize scientific literature and produce clear written and oral reports.
Knowledge of chemistry, statistics, computer‑assisted data processing, and GMP.
Initiative, willingness to learn, self‑motivation, good communication, and organizational skills.
Teamwork supportive of project teams as a Quality Unit Representative.
Accountability and independence within defined policy and review processes.
Location: Spokane, WA — On Site, Full‑Time
Shift:
Weekday Days | Monday‑Friday 8:00AM‑5:00PM
