Maintenance Manager
to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our PCBA manufacturing facility. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Maintenance Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The
Maintenance Manager
will develop and execute maintenance strategy, ensure long-term equipment reliability, and lead a team of technicians and supervisors to support high-volume SMT operations while driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and oversee comprehensive maintenance operations for PCBA and SMT production equipment, including pick‑and‑place machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering systems, AOI equipment, and supporting facility systems
Develop and execute long‑term preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and asset lifecycle performance
Build, mentor, and manage maintenance supervisors and technicians through structured training programs, performance management, and career development planning
Establish and enforce safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental policies, conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and safety training initiatives
Analyze downtime, OEE, and maintenance performance metrics to identify trends and implement data‑driven process and reliability improvements
Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure planning, and spare parts inventory to optimize cost control and equipment availability
Lead vendor management and contract negotiations for equipment service, parts procurement, and external maintenance support
Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and reliability‑centered maintenance programs to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support new equipment installation, line expansions, and process optimization initiatives
Oversee calibration programs for all precision equipment and measurement systems to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
Develop and drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
Establish maintenance policies, procedures, and documentation standards to support consistent, scalable operations
Support production planning by coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize impact on output and delivery commitments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a related field strongly preferred
7+ years of maintenance experience in a PCBA/SMT or high‑volume manufacturing environment required
3+ years of management or leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or departments preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, automation, and control systems in manufacturing environments
Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and capital projects
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
