The role
As Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize production and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will manage multi-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in delivering site performance targets. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and data‑driven decision‑making are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Champion safety across the plant, exceeding company policies and legal requirements

Lead daily production and maintenance operations in line with business objectives

Monitor, analyze, and communicate production metrics and KPIs

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance programs

Ensure accurate, timely production reporting within the ERP system (IFS)

Identify and execute corrective actions to reduce downtime, costs, and schedule deviations

Oversee equipment and tooling maintenance to maximize productivity and efficiency

Implement the company Quality Policy with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem prevention

Develop, train, and motivate teams; ensure completion of all required training

Support budgeting and forecasting activities with a focus on labor and direct costs

Act as a visible champion of company values and a proactive member of the site leadership team

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or operations management

Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Proven experience across production, maintenance, quality, and technical processes

Technically capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues with molds and machinery

Knowledge of production scheduling, facility operations, and automated equipment (machines, conveyors, robotics)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred

PMP or Project Management certification is an advantage
