Deploy highly available, scalable and secure on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Azure and VMware. Design, implement and manage on-premises and hybrid solutions, such as identity, security, management, networking, storage, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery. Use administrative tools and technologies such as Windows Admin Center, PowerShell, Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Azure Update Manager, Center, and Virtual Machine Manager for virtual machine (VM) administration. Implement infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques to migrate workloads into Microsoft Azure and across different hypervisor environments. Develop orchestration, provisioning, and resiliency automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration process. Analyze and resolve configuration issues in production infrastructure environments. Install, upgrade, and configure Windows server operating systems and software on VMware and Hyperconverged environments. Coordinate with the Systems and Infrastructure teams on projects and initiatives. Generate hardware and software reports to determine deficiencies. Perform product evaluations as part of POCs on new and emerging technologies. Coordinate with vendors for technical support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Requires 5 years of experience with Azure, Active Directory, and Clustering, in job offered, Software Consultant, IT Engineer, Architect, Lead Consultant – Infrastructure management, or related occupation. Requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations in U.S. Telecommuting is allowed.
The base pay range for this role is between $174,637 and $190k annually, and applicant's base pay will depend on applicant's qualifications, experience, and location.
