Transform the everyday with us
Siemens is seeking a Production Controller for our Grand Prairie manufacturing facility. With more than 1,200 employees producing high‑quality, make‑to‑order power distribution equipment for the western United States market, the role involves material handling, metal fabrication, final assembly, and test. The position converts the incoming production schedule into an efficient production sequence based on designs, material availability and line status, monitors sequence status, and drives improvement actions to maintain adherence.

You will make an impact by:

Creating, monitoring, reporting and driving production to adhere to the production sequence.

Coordinating and balancing supply and demand, evaluating work center capacity and material supply to develop detailed production plans that achieve high schedule adherence.

Working closely with production and customer service to plan and prioritize operations, fulfilling customer requirements on time and ensuring maximum performance while meeting financial goals.

Driving and coordinating daily production meetings.

Developing and maintaining daily/weekly manufacturing schedules to meet customer demand.

Analyzing data from MES to develop strategies for continuous improvement.

Reviewing, updating and/or fixing SAP material master or configurations as needed.

Ensuring delivery reliability, schedule adherence, and cost‑saving/productivity initiatives for the site.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering desired; candidates with other degrees will also be considered based on experience.

At least 2 years of experience in a production role within a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Buyer, Planner, or Master Scheduler. Recent college graduates will also be considered.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

APICS Certification

Lean Manufacturing experience

Microsoft Access

Excel Macros

You’ll Benefit From
Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The pay range for this position is $60,333 – $103,428 annually.
