Overview

Executive Assistant – Semiconductor Vertical
Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World
This position supports the Semiconductor President, Vice President and Directors, providing administrative and organizational assistance to enable effective leadership and operations. This role offers a transition opportunity from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.
Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the Semiconductor President, Vice President and Directors
Coordinate travel, manage calendars, review and route incoming correspondence, manage databases and distribution lists, and support internal communications platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
Schedule and support on-site and off-site meetings, video conferences and teleconferences; arrange meeting spaces as needed
Serve as a key point of contact for the Semiconductor Vertical leadership team, maintaining awareness of key dates and deadlines
Process invoices in SAP for business-related expenses
Assist with hiring processes and new employee onboarding
Work on special and ongoing projects as directed
Interpret and apply standard department/corporate policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices
Suggest and implement improvements to office and department procedures and programs
Demonstrate highly developed written and oral communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications

Minimum:

High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Experience:

Seven (7) years of combined experience in an administrative assistant, secretarial, and/or clerical role in private, public, government or military environments
Additional Qualifications

Experience with employee data systems such as SAP, Workday, Concur expense reporting, etc.
Experience supporting an executive conference member
Experience handling confidential, sensitive business information and supporting executive-level professionals
Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Experience using digital tools to improve personal productivity and business processes
Work Location

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Austin, Texas.
Travel

Travel may be up to 10% of the time.
Relocation

Relocation may be authorized.
Eligibility

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B).
