Who We Are
PetVet Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician. We are a family‑oriented, full‑service small animal hospital within an 11‑doctor practice.
Position Details
Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician
Employment type: Full‑time
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour shifts per week, one weekend day required
Sign‑on bonus available for licensed veterinary technicians
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, dentals, vaccines, and client education
Perform technical procedures and maintain accurate medical records
Support team operations through preparation, organization, and communication
Provide compassionate care to pets and their owners
Qualifications
True team player with positive attitude and strong communication skills
Passionate about veterinary medicine and committed to excellent patient care
Experience in a veterinary clinic, pet daycare, or similar setting preferred but not required
Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working evenings and weekends
Licensed and in good standing (for veterinary technician applicants)
Reliable, friendly, and warm demeanor when greeting clients
