Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise PTAs and therapy technicians
Bill within the respective setting following guidelines and regulations
Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and state regulations
Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
Use adaptive equipment and understand its applications
Evaluate patients, develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care based on patient progress
Use the medical center computer system for daily tasks and documentation
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements
Minimum 6 to 12 months of experience (new graduates encouraged)
State-specific licensing and a valid BLS certification
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Prepared to work 40 hours per week on 8-hour daily shifts
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
