Overview
Position Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Saturdays 8‑12 pm, Monday‑Friday 8‑5 pm.

Job Responsibilities

Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing.

Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs, ancillary testing (vaccines, injections, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram, respirator fit testing).

Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.).

Assist providers during examinations and treatments.

Perform routine medical procedures ordered by the clinician and triage emergent patients as needed.

Assist the clinician with procedure set‑up and injury care.

Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered.

Dispense medications and durable medical equipment (DME) per state regulations.

Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and devices.

Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and stock exam rooms.

Operate and record maintenance for all medical devices, including calibration.

Notify supervisor of equipment issues, supply needs, or facility problems.

Assist with patient flow and volume alongside center leadership.

Inform patients of expected wait times throughout the visit.

Perform clerical tasks for front and back office, ensuring accurate documentation.

Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.

Attend staff meetings or huddles as required.

Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly facility appearance.

Complete applicable training, including monthly clinical competency training.

Job‑Related Experience

At least six months of medical assistant experience.

Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.

Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred.

Compensation
This position may earn a base rate ranging between $21.27 and $27.65 per hour, based on experience and location.
