How you’ll make an impact in this role
Perform basic clinical and non‑clinical patient care activities under supervision in assigned area.
Document patient care journeys and essential observations accurately, ensuring high‑quality and complete medical records for the care team.
Support patients with essential personal care and activities of daily living to maintain their comfort and promote a sense of dignity.
Communicate any crucial changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing staff, enabling immediate and timely clinical intervention.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment, including room tidiness and ensuring medical equipment is ready to support efficient care delivery.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior.
Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.
Education
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
