- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
- Schedule:
- Floor: 7:30 AM Äì 4:00 PM
- Call: 6:00 PM Äì 7:00 AM
- Call rotation: 1:2 with shared weekday and weekend coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 60 days
- Facility accepts multiple providers: yes Requirements:
- Active CA license
- Board certification
- Clean history
- ACLS
- BLS
- Physician Assistant
- CA DEA Clinical Details:
- Patient volume: 5 Äì8 per shift
- Inpatient rounding on post-operative patients
- First assist in cardiovascular surgery
- Outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Skills include endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
- Interpretation of EKGs, imaging, and labs
- Management of advanced cardiac support devices (ECMO, IABP, Impella)
- Collaboration with surgical team and APP staff
- Support staff includes MAs and APPs Compensation:
