Job Summary
The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team responsible for technical, multi‑skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT works under the supervision of a licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs and the PCT’s skill level. The PCT provides care for adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification as a Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant preferred; successful completion of a CNA or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required.
Less than 2 years of CNA experience.
CPR – AHA Healthcare Provider.
Minimum age 18.
