This role is field-based in the Western Region within the Los Angeles West geography and focuses on Hematology, Oncology, and Cardiovascular portfolio products. It involves developing strong, long-term relationships with customers and providing access and reimbursement support, education, and resources in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner to support clinical decisions for patients.
The Enterprise Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM), PASS program, collaborates with matrix teams across Access Strategy, Field Sales, and the Market Access Field Team to serve patients and physicians.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain professional contacts with office staff in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals, and others in the patient care continuum.
Develop deep market access expertise in the assigned geography and anticipate implications for BMS brands and competitors in enterprise focus areas and patient support priorities. Stay informed on changing healthcare dynamics, market trends, and payer dynamics.
Proactively share reimbursement-related education with offices and staff, including enrolling appropriate patients into BMS patient support programs.
Reactively manage patient cases enrolled in BMS Hubs, coordinating with office staff to facilitate continuity of care after clinical decisions.
Comply with account knowledge sharing to support a unified ONE BMS matrix team approach.
Provide Home Office approved reimbursement updates to District Manager and sales representatives within the geography as appropriate.
Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing BMS conduct.
Estimate 20%–30% overnight travel, depending on territory residence.
This role reports to the Region Director of the Northeast Region. Preference is given to candidates residing within the territory geography boundary. Relocation is not available.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven performance in strategic analysis, leadership, critical thinking, leading without authority, and effective collaboration within a matrix organization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5+ years in pharmaceuticals and/or related healthcare experience.
Account management skills and experience in the buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy markets are preferred.
Prior customer-facing responsibility, along with patient reimbursement experience, is preferred.

The compensation range listed is for full-time employees. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final individual compensation is determined based on demonstrated experience. Benefits are subject to plan terms and location and may require enrollment.
