Enterprise Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) – Hematology, Oncology, Cardiovascular
The successful ARM candidate is a member of the customer‑facing Patient Access Support Services (PASS) organization and will build strong, long‑term relationships with customers, representing BMS Patient Access Support and Programs across a defined geography focused on Hematology, Oncology and Cardiovascular portfolio products. The role is field‑based in the Western Region, within the Los Angeles West geography, and requires collaboration with the PASS program management team, matrix colleagues across Access Strategy, Field Sales and the Market Access Field Team.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain professional contacts with office staff in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals, and other patient‑care‑continuum stakeholders.

Develop deep market‑access expertise in the assigned geography and anticipate implications for BMS brands and key competitors regarding enterprise focus and patient‑support priorities; maintain expertise on changing healthcare trends and payer dynamics.

Proactively share reimbursement‑related education to offices, educating staff on enrolling appropriate patients into BMS patient‑support programs.

Reactively manage patient cases enrolled into BMS Hubs, working with office staff to facilitate continuity of care after the clinical decision.

Compliantly share account knowledge and insights to enhance the ONE BMS matrix team approach.

Provide Home Office‑approved reimbursement‑related updates to District Manager and sales representatives within the geography as appropriate.

Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of BMS.

Maintain 20–30% overnight travel, based on the candidate’s residence within the territory.

Report to the Region Director of the Northeast Region.

Prefer candidates who reside within the territory geography boundary.

Relocation is not available.

Qualifications and Experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated performance in strategic analysis, leadership, critical thinking, leading without authority and effective collaboration within a matrix organization.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5+ years in pharmaceuticals and/or related healthcare experience.

Account‑management skills and experience in the buy‑and‑bill and specialty pharmacy market are preferred.

Prior customer‑facing responsibility and patient reimbursement experience are preferred.

Demonstrated strength in BMS values: urgency, inclusion, passion, accountability, innovation and integrity.

Operation of a company‑provided vehicle requires meeting Qualified Driver requirements as determined by BMS.

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $153,000 to $185,400 for a full‑time employee. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility and demonstrated experience.
