Position Purpose
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
Position Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with advanced training and certification in Ultrasonography, required.
Experience and Skills
Competency in components of sonography practice; technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy; safety conscious, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, verbal and communication skills.
Licenses and Certificates
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Additional registration as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) required.
BLS certification required.
This position requires evenings, weekends, and holiday rotations.
