TITLE: School Nurse for Summer School K-8 Programs 2026
This position is _X_ exempt or ___non-exempt
Primary Function
Responsible for performing professional health services duties required in the school setting for the K-8 Summer School program.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Licensed registered nurse preferred
Certification in CPR
Demonstrate a willingness to work with all students
Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity and oral and written communication skills required to perform all performance responsibilities (able to lift 50 pounds unassisted)
Ability to quickly learn procedures used to report information and maintain records
Ability to prepare required written reports
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Possess knowledge and skills to operate computer system
Terms Of Employment
June 29th-July 23rd (Monday - Thursday only) Off July 2nd
Additional day of planning prior to the start of summer school
8:00 am - 12:30 pm
$30 per hour
