Responsibilities
Exercise independent judgment and decision making while performing duties under general supervision.
Perform a variety of Human Resources functions requiring specialized knowledge and expertise.
Review employment applications to determine eligibility and qualifications in accordance with agency and Office of Administration requirements.
Process employment verifications for current and former department employees.
Track departmental compliance of the I‑9 process and the associated federal regulations.
Establish security access to HR and personnel‑related systems for worksite personnel staff, ensuring appropriate security protocols are followed.
Draft and distribute personnel letters associated with PAF (Position Action Form) processes.
Audit annual and cyclical compensatory leave payouts for accuracy and compliance.
Perform other related work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
One or more years as an Administrative Support Assistant (SOSA) with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
Four or more years of office experience and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis for general experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)

Compensation & Stipends
$2.00 per hour shift differential if assigned to a shift that begins on or between 12:00 pm and 5:00 am and are employed at a 24/7 congregate care facility.
$0.75 per hour maximum security stipend if work full‑time at a qualifying facility.
$1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend if assigned a regular post within a restrictive housing/segregation unit at any facility.
