Location & Schedule
Baptist Health is hiring an Office Specialist II at Baptist Cardiology, located at Baptist Silverleaf in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time day‑shift position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
Job Responsibilities
Provide business services for patients and the healthcare system, including patient registration.
Post charges and payments, and handle telephone protocols.
Assist patients as needed.
Review and follow up on unpaid insurance claims.
Process mail on a daily basis.
Work with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers.
Check in and check out patients.
Assist with referrals as needed.
Scan documents.
Experience Requirements
One‑to‑two years of front‑desk experience (preferred).
Experience working in a medical office (preferred).
Education & Credential Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
License and Certification
Driver's license – DMV.
