Job Summary
Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. You will support the surgical team during obstetric procedures, ensuring a safe, sterile environment and compassionate care for patients.

Responsibilities

Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.

Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.

Provide instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.

Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.

Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient‑centered care and a seamless surgical experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Graduate from a Surgical Technician Program.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtain within 30 days of employment start date.

Minimum of one year of surgical experience (Women’s Services preferred).
