Associate Patient Care Technician - Stroke Unit - FT Night

Under general supervision by the RN, the Patient Care Tech is responsible for providing basic nursing care for in‑patients and out‑patients as needed, within their specified area(s). The Patient Care Tech is responsible for collecting and reporting information to the supervising RN and completing all patient care related documentation. Patient Care Techs are assigned to Cardiopulmonary, Medical/Surgical/Oncology, or Resource Float Pool areas.
Required Qualifications
Completion of a CNA program, first semester of a nursing program, or EMT program.
National Provider BLS certification – American Heart Association (upon hire).
Experience with basic data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of EKG training.
One year of acute patient care experience, or six months in a direct patient care environment.

Salary Range: $24.00 - $29.57 per hour. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities may be available.
