Behavioral Health Clinician
The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services.

Responsibilities

Complete the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to the assigned program.

Document provided services and coordinate discharges from CBI programs.

Coordinate care with family or other significant others.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health; Master’s degree preferred. Licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor is preferred.

1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience; prior exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred.
